Young men who learn negotiation and compromise advance faster than those who escalate every disagreement. Mockery or cruelty may look tough, but empathy produces better teams and outcomes.

Treating others—women, coworkers, opponents—with respect is foundational to leadership. Deflecting responsibility or attacking critics may win short-term applause but costs respect and growth over time.

Normalizing exaggeration, insults, or cutting corners erodes credibility—something young men need to build early in careers and relationships.

Today, young men are surrounded by loud, powerful figures who equate success with dominance, attention, and winning at all costs. One of the most visible examples is Donald Trump.
