Russia has carried out extensive attacks on Ukraine’s energy and fuel infrastructure throughout the war.

According to Ukraine’s Energy Ministry, approximately 2,900 attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities were reported between March and August 2025, targeting electricity systems and other energy infrastructure, not just fuel facilities.

In June 2025, Russia conducted at least two attacks on Ukrainian oil-refining infrastructure.

On August 19, 2025, Russian forces struck energy infrastructure in the Poltava region, with Russia reporting an attack on the Kremenchuk oil refinery.

During the first seven months of 2026, Russia destroyed 32 Ukrnafta filling stations, according to Ukraine’s state energy company Naftogaz.

On August 7, 2026, Naftogaz also reported Russian attacks that damaged seven oil and gas production facilities and four additional filling stations.

These incidents illustrate Russia’s sustained campaign against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, disrupting fuel supplies, damaging critical facilities, and threatening both civilian life and Ukraine’s economic stability.

Trump didn’t squat about these attacks by Russia, aka Putin.

Trump announced an agreement with Putin on October 9, 2026 to allow Russian diesel into American and global markets.

Trump’s diesel agreement could generate revenue for Putin’s government, potentially strengthening Russia’s ability to support Iran and continue its war against Ukraine.

The main concern is that the United States could be purchasing fuel from Russia while Russia provides military assistance to Iran, a country engaged in hostilities with American forces.

Russia could therefore benefit financially from American fuel purchases while continuing activities that threaten American national security.

The Middle East Institute reported in 2026 that Russia had supplied Iran with satellite targeting information concerning U.S. forces and advanced drone technology. Russia and Iran also maintain extensive military cooperation.

The financial relationship works this way:

  1. The United States purchases Russian diesel.
  2. Russian energy companies receive revenue, some of which contributes to government finances through taxes and other payments.
  3. Russia gains additional resources to support military operations and strategic partners.
  4. Iran could benefit through Russian military equipment, intelligence, technology or other assistance.

Trump is OPENLY siding with Putin and against American troops. That’s essentially an open and shut case of committing treason.
